Expeditions: With day packs on go wild in the surrounding natural wonders. Climb trees, dive into creeks and see wildlife.

Simple Pleasures: Enjoy stick whittling, rope skipping and other campground games.

Camp fire: Light a fire with flint and steel. Enjoy the calming benefits of gently flickering flames.

Food: Our food is delicious and nutritious, using the best organic and spray free produce the Rainbow Region has to offer. We create delicious menus to tickle your taste buds and fill hungry tummies. (Dietary requirements catered for).

Confidence builders: Witness the joy of seeing your child grow in confidence as they are given age appropriate responsibilities integral to the group, helping to propel them through the wilderness to new and exciting discoveries.

Wood chopping: Under careful supervision get involved in preparing wood for the fire.

Damper making: Make your own damper and bake it over the fire on a stick. Fill it with butter and honey for the ultimate treat.

Wild swimming: Spend the day dipping in the cool creek water and sliding down waterfalls. We know all the best swim holes!

Yuraygir National Park in Northern NSW is about 3 hours drive from Gold Coast Airport, 2 hrs from Byron Bay and 3.5 hrs from Brisbane. With 65km of striking cliffs, rocky headlands, isolated beaches and quiet lakes set against a backdrop of forests, heaths and wetlands, this colossal park is a place to experience, not just see.

Inclusions

  • Twin and triple share tents or 4-6 people tent accommodation, with bedroom and living space.
  • Proper mattresses, soft sheets, real pillows.
  • All meals, snacks and drinks. (Delicious, nutritious food using locally sourced, mostly organic produce that caters to your dietary requirements.)
  • Group camp activities: guided walks, wild swimming, damper making, fire skills, stick whittling, camp games.

Note: You’re free to be as involved in the group activities as you wish.

What are the sleeping arrangements in the tents?

We can provide different set ups to suit different requirements. For adult only retreats single, double, twin shares are available. For Mums' & Dads' camps, twin and triple shares are available. Crew tents can be provided for families and 4-6 people where applicable.
All options are available for event and corporate bookings.

Is linen and bedding provided?

Yes. All beds are real mattress beds with Eco cotton sheets, pillows and duvets to suit the season.

Is food provided?

For retreats we provide high quality meals made from scratch using local, mainly organic/spray free, produce.
For event and corporate bookings food is an optional extra and can be tailored to suit your requirements

Are all dietary requirements catered for?

Yes. Our meals are served in a group setting with enough variety of dishes to satisfy all dietary requirements.

Is there a common area for the group?

For retreats we set up a common area shelter with a mobile fire-pit, tables and chairs.
For events and corporate bookings our shelters are an optional extra.

Where are the toilets?

National Park NSW provides toilet facilities on the campgrounds within easy reach of the campsite. The toilets are compostable and are regularly maintained by national park ranges.

Where can I wash?

For retreats we set up a private washing cubicle where hot water can be provided for a cleansing clean. Many guests just use the nearby freshwater creeks and waterfalls for a dip.
For events and corporate bookings we can tailor amenities to suit your requirements.

Can we arrange transport?

For retreats, we can arrange airport transfers to and from any of our National Park locations at an additional cost. Please enquire when you book.
For events and corporate. Point to point transport can be included to suit your requirements.
